Flight of the Swans* - A female conservationist takes to the skies in a paramotor to follow Bewick’s Swans on their annual migration in a bid to understand their dramatic decline; 7,000 kilometers, 11 countries, from Russia to England across tundra, forests, and industrial landscapes, where she encounters people just as passionate about saving and protecting these birds and their wetland homes. Narrated by Academy Award nominee Sophie Okonedo. Burning Injustice - "Burning Injustice" is a powerful documentary that follows the inspiring journey of Latino activists, John Mataka and Bianca Lopez, as they lead a fight against one of the last trash incinerator in California. Set in California's Central Valley, the film exposes the devastating health consequences of pollution and highlights their tireless efforts to close the facility for good. Through their unwavering determination, they call for environmental justice and a safer future for their community. Burning to Heal* - The Almeda Fire blew through Southern Oregon burning over 2,500 homes. Just three years later, a landowner, fire professionals, and community members are working to bring fire back to the land in a positive way. “Burning to Heal” is a short documentary examining our relationship with fire, and how that relationship could evolve into the future. Fire is a part of where we live, but there is much more to learn. How do we keep the land healthy while still protecting our communities from fire? Can we have a positive relationship with fire after seeing how destructive it can be? How do we tackle the insurmountable workload needed to prepare for fires?
